Missing
Howard Lamar Stanford, age 38, has been missing since Sept 1, 2009. Howard is a white male, 5'8" and 140 pounds.
Howard's vehicle was found abandoned at the Oak Mountain State Park in the parking lot of the beach area. He is believed to be carrying a Timberland back pack and it was reported that a man carrying a backpack was last seen leaving the Oak Mountain park when the park was closing on the evening of September 2nd.
Howard does suffer from a mental condition but is only harmful to himself should he fail to take the prescribed medication.

Please help bring this veteran/hero home safe to his family. Howard has a five yeard old daughter and a seventeen year old son and a wife that would love to see him return home safely.
